I don't have everyone's stats, but have been trying to keep up with the Stats of the Top players in Middle and West Tn... Since the Tennessean hasn't come out with there list quite yet, I thought I would post SOME of the top scorers in Middle TN.....

Josh Stephen from Lipscomb will be on the list. Through the first 8 games his average was 20.5 per game.

i know tues nite brian had 25 pts 5-3ptrs,9reb,8stl,7asst

 

he has had a few more games this year with numbers around that too

john Austin of Gordonsville has to be scoring at least 23 to 25 points a game.

I definitely agree with horsefly on Josh Stephen. No one in Middle TN can guard him (just look at his stats). I am anxious to see how he will do against the Brewer kid from Portland. I hear he is an excellent player...but we will see if he can stop Josh Tuesday night at 8.

Not official...but simply by my count Wendell Sturdivant for Henry County is averaging 19.2 per game. Zech Teague 15.4 per game.

I believe big john is averaging about 18 or 19 a game for Portland.

Since you included some of the kids from Chattanooga: The paper last Friday had the top three scorers as follows:

 

Josh Suddath, McCallie 28.9

Jake Skogen, Temple 28.4

Justin Hare, Bradley Central 21.8

 

Not all the schools had reported and so that could change in the next couple of weeks when coaches get their stats in. Also there was an individual from Silverdale Baptist who was actually third, but I don't think they should count in the stats because they play in a league that is incredibly poor competition.

Brad Miller from Wayne Co. is averaging around 17 or 18 a game. He had 33 the other night against collinwood and 8 three balls. He is only about a 5'8' point guard.

Don't overlook the Cannon County trio of Brian Jones, Dustin Jones, and Jesse Owen. Each is capable of a big game on any given night. They are each averaging double figures in points.

6'6 Soph. guard Justin Bryant from Collinwood is averaging 18.6 pts. per game and 6'5 Jr. teammate Jerrod Calton is averaging 15.3 points per game. These two kids are scoring 70 percent of the teams points.
