E. TN Freshman Stud

I got to watch one of the best freshmen boys I've seen in a while last night at William Blount. Stephen Kite of of South Doyle put on quite a show. I think he ended up with 27. Excellent ball handler, excellent penetration skills, great quickness, nice soft shot ... if I saw one weakness, it was the fact that he didn't appear to be able to go to his left real well (of course, against WB, he didn't have to, they couldn't stop him from going right!!!).

 

I look forward to getting to watch this young man the next few years.

How did Jordan Glasgow do in that game...any other big numbers from anyone??? Jordan has impressed me...I've seen him play in about 3 or 4 games, each he had in the twenties, easily, and didn't get the touches that he deserved.

GovMan consider yourself lucky to see Kite play, he plays so much Varsity he usually doesn't play Freshmen ball. He is their first sub off the bench.

Sorry guys ... I was not clear. THIS WAS A VARSITY GAME. Kite had 27 against WB in the varsity game. And WB is not that shabby !!!

 

BTW, Glasgow is a future star at WB. He may be the most gifted and developed freshmen post player that WB has had in quite some time.

The Biggest Stud in East Tn would be by far Walt The Hand Man Jordan from Harriman. This kid is leading the freshman team with the most points. He is going to be the next Michael Jordan. This kid is a Freshman and already throwing a few down.

Who are some other freshmen studs that you guys have seen?

 

Clinton has a few: Dye, Borum, Dixon, good guards...

Oak Ridge has Washington and company...

William B. has Glasgow...

Cumberland Co. has a great guard but can't remember his name.

Anderson Co. has Laverdiere, Collins...two good guards.

Maryville has a solid team, but no real standouts...that's probably why they are so good....as do Loudon. Both with good coaches.

Well he plays post most of the time and sometimes runs point. He is 6'4 and can really tear the rim off.

I know people in UT's basketball office and they have not mentioned any kid from Harriman that they are interested in.....

Letters from schools are only a formality. Legitimate INTEREST will be characterized by personal contact! However if this kid is receiving letters as a freshman, it speaks well of his ability now.

did he play middle school ball last year? Cause I would have played him? How did he do when play against Midway High this year? I will say this watch out for Midway's freshmen(though not been playing much) Josh Lloyd, Jeremy Woody, and me Jason DeVries

Beau Brown from McMinn central is Defeinetely a freshman stud. He is pretty much a starter, and really helps out the team. When Central almost beat Cleveland's boys last Tuesday, he had 22 points and like 5 assists. The boy can play, and he is going to be a straight baller by the time he is a senior. Look out for him.
