paguy
Walker Valley travels to the "dome" Monday night to face Cleveland.Alot of people think it could be a pretty close game.I personally disagree. After all last time these two teams squared off Walker Valley embaressed Cleveland.I believe they won by 17.And not to mention Walker Valley is hot after coming off a huge district win against the second ranked Lady Chargers of Mcminn Central.I just dont think these two teams even come close to one another.Just give me all yalls opinion
chargerchick
I think that this will be a close game, coming down to the wire. I think that Walker Valley has the better post, and that Clevelands post will have trouble guarding them. I think Holly Rogers will have trouble handling the pressure of Osha Parks, so will Allison Rader. Buckaloo might be hard for Walker Valley to defend, I wouldn't be surprised if they put Mindy Cox on her. Overall, I think that these two teams match up well, and that it will be a close game. Guest BullHorn
If Cleveland guards come ready to battle, they will be hard to handle. Last time they met, they did not step up, crumbled under the pressure. However with a little confidence now, the game may be different. Parks is quick and an awesome defender however these guards have played against quicker quards and those with more experience.Defending Rominger is key. Will Cleveland allow Morris and Cox to dominate the boards again? Brett and Burtnett have to be ready to play as does Botts and Rogers.WV played well together and well deserved the win.Rominger did a good job. Will she be challenged this time? Will CHS put up a fight? Should be a great game with great talent on the floor. Who wants it more may be the answer. Due to the last games embarrassment, CHS by 7. sportsphan
My prediction is Walker Valley girls and Cleveland boys. Why does everyone think that Cleveland girls is all that great. Bradley almost beat them and Walker Valley did beat them. Plus they have lost lots of games this year. Walker Valley must be very good to beat McMinn Central and they beat McMinn and McMinn beat Cleveland AND Bradley. Cleveland boys are one of the best teams around here. anspa
sportsphan, have you seen who cleveland has lost to, nationally ranked shelbyville, state ranked lawerence county twice, nationally ranked oak ridge, mcminn by 1, georgia state ranked narbonne, o and a couple of flukes, walker valley and soddy for sure. how many nationally or state ranked teams has wv played, other than mcminn central? cleveland lost one player from a team that won 20 plus in aaa last year, thats why everyone thinks they are that good, granted they had a rough start this season, but have also played the toughest schedule of any east tennessee team, and they will all be back next year and better for it. lwhite
walker valley has the advantage, nothing to lose - worse case scenario they end up splitting with cleveland in regular season. cleveland on the other hand has to defend their home court, and hope to break even with walker valley. I'll be pulling for walker valley, cleveland will be so tense tonight - beating rhea county would be a struggle. Walker Valley by

raider2
It seems like alot of you Lady Mustang fans were wrong. Walker Valley by 7. Walker Valley by 20. What happened? Congrats to the Lady Raiders!
sportsphan
was it a closer game than the score indicates? I would have to say that I was surprised that Cleveland won so bad. Bradley may not be able to beat them if they play like that. It should be McMinn and Cleveland as the district champions now.
