VolunteerGeneral
cb56...I also meant to ask you if Chris Mosby got to play much for the Varsity. Sometime`s a kid gets to play more if they stay on the Freshman team. VG Join CoachTPlus!!! cb56
Chris beat out a senior for the starting position at defensive end last year and had a great season. He started every game and even played linebacker when Matt Karpovich was injured against Melrose. If he stays healthy and hits the weights I believe he will most definitely be a D1 prospect come 2006. Also, thanks for the invite, I'll look into it. pharoah
I would have to say Dustin Lindsay of Alcoa and Spencer Gulmire from Oak Ridge were two of the best freshmen players last season. They are both very talented and skilled . Wouldn't suprise me if we see them go on to the collegiate level
The General
The best would have to be.. Wilson Cates-QB-Livingston Mike Jones-RB-Monterey
Guest cneagles
Page had several Freshman that may be heard from in the future. Gavin Lankford- started at safety and will be the heir apparent at QB when Elliot leaves. Josh McMurry- played quite a bit a varsity great speed and work ethic. Lucas Carter- started one game at offensive lineman. Very good size and hard worker. Zac Beatty and Zac Betts- both helped at the offensive line positions on varsity. These are just the kids that moved up to varsity. The kids that stayed on Varsity are loaded with talent and some great size on the O-Line. Future looks good at Page. ILuvsports
Dustin Lindsey and the kid from Oak Ridge really stood out to me. Lindsey took on an unusual role for a freshman when he was really asked to be the leader of the team. Hes very talented and the best is yet to come. REBELRON
Joey Figler,Brandon Warren,Logan Love,Martin White and Ronald Osbourne are real good freshmen. But there is one guy who stood out above all their freasmen and that is Dustin Lindsey. If Dustin Lindsey keeps his head on straight and works hard at getting better he has a chance to be a big time recruit. He is a big time stud. He is 6'2 230lbs linebacker and running back. Alcoa will kill the other 2A schools when those guys get to be juniors and senior. They have another strong class coming up behing this freshman coach. Maryville has a few good freshmen who will be sophomores next season. Ryan Tallent,Gary Tucker and Anthony Jackson will be good players. nununu
Don't leave out that Jeremiah kid from Hunter's Lane. Although he played freshman ball, he could have started for their varsity at QB, RB, WR, DB,you name it. Also look at Antioch's freshman RB Preston Brown. If not for Lamarcus Coker, this kid would be a starter. Listen for these names in the future.
TheDonJaun
One of the best Fresman teams last year had to be Kingstons fresman.Very few of there games were decided by less then 30 points. They clearly dominated anyone that they played. They had stand out players that where a force. To name a few Mitch Brown lead the the team with around 55 tackles on the D line and let nothing though on the O line at TE and ROLB Lee Johnson was an unstoppible force that no team could rekon with Chad Johnson at RB and MLB could not be tackled it seemed somtimes At WR and LOLB James Driggers that runs a 4.78 40 time and the QB and CB Kyle Adams was a great player at both positions also Brandon Quillen who is one of the hardest hitting fresman i have ever seen and last Coty Lalusa that could catch any ball thrown to him. These are just a few they should be a force to be reckoned with next season Thank you
reff
Oak Ridge Freshman, 8-0 won TVAC freshman championship, Killed Kingston in fall scrimmage, played against sophmores when they played McMinn and they had only one home game. Won by an average of 30 or points per game, not a bad resume.
