old softball board have registered in their ballots.

there are no losers in this race though, all the no's

and yes's still love the game and that's what it is all

about. While the yes's may be a little more avid, rabid,

fanatics solely about the game, we still love and need

the no's and that makes the sport great for all. The no's

are vital to the game, and there is nothing wrong about

them having varied interests with fastpitch, that is

what makes life fun and interesting (although the game

would be a lot more pure if it was not played with 5" of

snow on the field).

A sept/oct season would miss a lot of rain outs and 34 degree games. But, who wants to fight with basketball coaches that want their players in the gym?

I'd love to have softball in the fall but I also want girls soccer in the fall and absolutely do not want football in the spring even though the weather is better suited for it than any other sport. So, I'm no help at all.

No. National summer tournaments would run into school ball practice, and girls would have to adapt to a different group of teammates too quickly.
