i have had the opportunity to see willie kemp play a few times this season and i will tell you he is one heck of a ball player for a freshman. you sure cant tell he is a freshman by watching play as he looks more like an expeirenced senior. i am really impressed with bolivars team overall and feel there is no doubt that they will make a good run to the state tourney. kemp, riley and lake are three exceptional players as well as the entire team. they play their best from the tip to the buzzer.

Did Tyler get any votes last year? He had a couple 40 point games as a freshman (namely against state runner-up Marshall Co.)

VINCE REDD SHOULD BE A FINALIST. HE IS ONE OF THE BEST PLAYERS IN THE STATE AND REPRESENTS HIS TEAM AND HIMSELF WITH CLASS. NOT TO MENTION WHO CAN STOP HIM AT THE POST.

My vote for AA Mr. Basketball goes to Brandon Harriford of Nashville's Hume-Fogg Magnet High School.

 

Based on leadership abilities, clutch scoring, rebounding, ball hawking style play on defense and getting his teammates involved into the flow of the game.

 

Brandon continues to grow and is getting better and better each game he plays.

Vince Redd of Elizabethton and Tremon Hall of Loudon are the only candidates worth consideration from East TN. Again, these two are only worthy of consideration..... Tyler Smith seems to be a shoe-in, but the committee has had some trouble voting for undersclassman in the past....

Out4blood, Do you really think that Vince is not one of the best in AA and you would not pic him on your team. If that is the case you need to learn alot about this great game called Basketball.

Andre Allen is top 100 in the country out of juniors and I know that Nick Stiggers, if he becomes eligible, will be VERY good. He would be considered the best player in Memphis if eligible. Fisk from Dyer Co sounds good and Tyler Smith would be good too.

Etown, I did not say I wouldn't take vince on a team. He's just not Mr. basketball material. I love this great game called basketball and I know a little about it. BJ Miller would be a better choice than vince and yes I would take him over vince on the court. I heard Vince wasn't MVP of the conference so how could he think about Mr. Basketball.

Although Harriford is a very very talented player I saw him play against Station Camp and as a point guard its his responsibility to lead his team. Hume-Fogg was licky to get that win. Station Camp was up at halftime so you have to give them some respect.
