Courtney Boynton of Beech (but could have easily been from Dunlap) was one of the best 12 - 13 yr old pitchers but we move her to SS as a 14 yr old because you hit it on the left side and she got you out. One of the best middle infielders I have seen. There is another on the horizon at Goodpasture that could have been an ace pitcher but she is now a SS remember the name: Natalie Weisinger.

Heather Randolph

Amy Robertson

Beth Alexander

Tiffany Vandergriff

Lindsey Edmondson

Kelly Swafford

Megan Elliott

Ashley Frizell

I think we need to talk about what makes a good pitcher. Many times a girl can be called "the best" simply because she was on a dominating team. The "best pitcher" should be a person who exemplifies great speed, great breaking pitches, great control, a winning attitude, and gives off an air of dominance. Strike outs, earned run average and hits given up are all determined by other factors like who you play and who you don't play. I congratulate all the girls mentioned in the previous posts. You have obviously done something to make these people vote for you as the "best pitcher". :o

I saw her pitch in summer ball and her team won the state three times that I know of, with her pitching..She now pitches at East Tennesse State. Her Lady Hurricane team finished as the top Tennessee team in the 14-U ASA nationals in 1995 when they were in Chattanooga, they also finished 5th in the NSA Nationals in 16-U in 1997....do you need more....the dog howls.................

Thank you gome07. Im glad there is somebody sane on this website. I'm sure you know that Jarfly was clocked at over 100 mph. And to cornpup, if you find a place to meet that we both know where it is, I'll be glad to show you that even in his late 50's Jarfly can still throw about 70 mph, which is faster than anything you've looked at from an underhanded pitcher anyway. When anyone faced Jarfly in his prime, they walked up to the plate, looked at 3 pitches, and drug timber back to the dugout. Hope to see you soon. :D

Hey cornpup. No disrespect, but this BS as you call it, about a 100 MPH fastball is probably correct. If I'm not mistaken the fastest thrown ball in either baseball or softball ever was recorded by a fastpitch pitcher. I was lucky enough to play ASA Men's Class A ball all around this country and faced many pitchers that threw in the 80 to 90 MPH range, and like I said that was just Class A ball not Major A. I am too young to have faced Jarfly (thank goodness) but what these people are saying just might be true.

    • Upperman White County both will be loaded. Dyersbirg and South Side will be a handful as well. Getting about that time in about 3 weeks we start watching summer scrimmages. Dyersburg loaded loaded loaded with talent. Most talent ever I have seen in their program.
    • We, SP, blanked them 10-0 in sectional game during 21 season.
    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
