coachchannell
The student section during the OZ / Kingston game was awesome. Students from LC, Loudon and some from AC standing side by side with the OS student... it was loud and energizing. I wish the atmosphere could be like that every night. There is no place like the land of OZ.

Guest Longball5
Yeah it was great seein OS have to have the other schools hold their hands to cheer. Kingston's was by far beter. Sitzlar dunking it right infront of that student section was great! They didn't know what to say........all them idiots said was scoreboard.......WELL HERE"S ONE FOR YAH..........YOU GOT DUNKED ON! Then they went nuts after the game. Did they forget they came in 3?
TheAnswer9
Did you forget you ALL (Kingston) finished below 3rd in 4th. Who cares about getting dunked on?? I mean it looks like you all will get AE for the 3rd time next week!! The bottom line is OS got the win on their home court. What an atmosphere!! There has been seats o' plenty this week in the Den. I like the format that OS has used in keeping helping control the sizes of the crowd. If a "fan" truly wanted to attend the games, they would regardless. I mean it is easy to say this and that like that IAMOZ guy said earlier.

Guest jacketfan10
hey swamp....what do you have against Kingston's student section...we may be half the size of all the other students sections in our district but we are a heck of alot louder...Lenoir City and Oliver Springs...the only reason you all team up against us is because you all can't beat us single -handed (in anything)...Our student section put that other mess people call a student section to shame...... swamp
I don't have anything against the ones that come. Kingston's students that were there were rowdy enough. It's the ones that don't that bother me, considering that Kingston has the third-biggest enrollment in the district and brings, by far, the fewest students. And we can usually forget about students going to away games if they have to leave the borders of Roane County. Redskins15
goose..On Friday night, some friends and I had to sit in the aisle because there weren't enough seats. I know it was the championship games, but we also had to do that on Tuesday night as well. [Edited by Redskins15 on 2-28-03 10:16P]
TheAnswer9
Dang boys, That atmosphere in the Den was rocking tonight. Thats how district championship games are meant to be played--in front of a full house.
goosevol
I remember saying that as long as everybody had a seat it was great, but tonight everybody didn't and I hate it for those folks. But I think the players will remember the experience forever because it's kind of like the move Hoosiers in which everybody comes to the game. I think everyone from District 4AA should be commended on their crowd support. [Edited by goosevol on 2-28-03 10:49P]
Redskins15
Well, goose...yes, I had a seat. It was uncomfortable, and everytime someone would come down or go up, we would get yelled at. There was nothing else we could do. There were no seats on the bleachers left. I do agree with you on the comment about the 4-AA fans coming out tonight. That was awesome. It was great to see all the teams being supported, and I think the players will remember it for a long time, too.
