At first, I was shocked and saddened by this news, but I got to thinking, it's what he wants to do, good for him. He probally needs the extra time for his family anyways. After having Coach for Econ, it's obvious how much of a love he has for them. There were several days he would do nothing but talk of his family, especially his daughters.

 

He's been a successful coach and I hope that after a while he gets back into it. You've really got to admire him for going out on not such a good note (10-16) especially considering that he had a very decent team (only lost three seniors) coming back. Hope that he gets his wish and that Johnson takes over.

Well you can't really say it's a lock until the school announces it, but that's who Waller is wanting as stated in the article. I'm sure the "open search" will just be a formality.

Franklin won this district (11 AAA) in 2001 and 2002. A rebuilding year is inevitable. They are consistently competitive. 1989 AAA state champs. Good mix of students. Hope this helps. Big Poppa, this is who you think it is. Give me a yell.
