Scrimmage Weekend @ Rhea County

I wasn't able to attend any of these games this weekend. Please post your thoughts and observations if you got to see any of them. Thanks.

Rhea went 3-1 and handled ooltewah, red bank, and central very easily. The Rhea/Red Bank game was a good game but Red Bank could only manage 3 runs off Rhea's number 5 starter.

Walker Valley is the team who beat Rhea

Walker Valley is also the team that lost to Ooltewah and struck out 5 times to one of Ooltewah's freshman pitchers.

Only reason Walker Valley beat Rhea was because WV threw their number 1 and he was bringing gas. As for the other teams Rhea played, they just simply looked out matched. Rhea's gonna be a contender this year.

You whine because you faced Dustin Murray and because he brings gas. And still you say that you are a contender this year? If you want to be a contender at the plate, you have to be able to hit fast,slow,offspeed,and fastballs. Dont whine because we threw a pitcher that throws hard

nobody is whinin we didnt hit good that nite but that guy wasn't the reason,he wasnt really bringin gas maybe in the low 80's. and the only reason they scored off our number 4 is because of an error in the outfield

I guess one excuse is as good as another. It just proves any team can beat another at some point and time. It's a good thing you didn't invite Cleveland to play.

I saw Rhea play and they are legit. It was their first night seeing live pitching so give them a break. Murray couldn't get away with that later in the season. Caldwell is a great coach and he will have them swinging the bats. I was at the tournameny and they were by far the best team. It's early and we'll see who's left standing when May gets here
