Well dang Blue if that is concidered a good prospect for Rb in football I must be a prospect also concidering Im benching 305 and have a 4.6 40yd dash.

This Latham kid out of sweetwater is pretty tough. He is a big back who can do it all. I wouldn't mind having him on our team. Also Rockwood has a decent RB. I think his name is Pryor... He isn't as big as latham, but he has good size and runs hard.

R.J. Meadows from Beech will be one of the top backs in the state last year.. He had a great junior year... See what he does this year..

Earnest Williams out of Crockett Co. is one of the quickest most elusive runners in 3a and can lay a lick on you if you try to stop him.

According to Insiders.com, which is one of the better recruiting databases, only two TN senior running backs are in the top 75 nationally: Ryan Karl of BGA and David Holbert of Brentwood Academy.

 

There may be other definitive sources out there...let's here about them.

I think Paul Campbell, Tyler Boron, Kyle Winton, and Trae Jackson for Soddy Daisy will be running the ball very well this year. They have very much experience and they know how top hit the holes just right to make their beak aways.

Earnest is listed on Unapproved Website as a DB as that's where he'll probably play in college. He's probably one of the top 5 athletes in the state.

paul campbell of soddy daisy is the real deal...in fact , he's the don of all running backs. i agree paul and winton will do a fine job next year

this may be a few weeks old, but i was just reading through these and the comment about booker being too small to play d-1 got my attention. that guy is really fast and runs hard and despite being small, his legs are tree trunks and his arms arent exactly small either. ive played against him the last three years and he would get my vote as most likely to go d-1 out of all the rb's ive played against, even that davenport guy. size does matter but not if youve got the skills to make up for it. ever heard of a guy named quentin griffin? running back at okla that stands at a towering 5'7-5'8...i could be wrong but this small guy did do a bit of damage in the big 12. good luck to corey this year and i hope he proves me right on this one.
