Everyone said Giles couldn't beat the wicked west , and we beat one of the best they have to offer. I pick Giles over Fulton , Giles is playing to hard with to much talent and to much heart to lose in the first round.

I definetly agree.We would have drilled dyer county just because they was talking alot of smack but instead they didn't even make to the sectionals.

I think that I am going to have to stick with my Giles Co team on this one. They are a great all around team and deserve a shot at the gold ball. I am so proud of our guys and I wish the best of luck to yall. I can't wait to make that trip to the BORO with the rest of the black plague to cheer you on. Hershey boys, white boy, and bench mob, go and show the rest of AA what you made of. GC ALL THE WAY!!

I have been reading alot of these post and everyone makes great points.. But you also have to take this factor into account. This is a neutral site for both team. Giles had district, regions, and substate at home. Fulton played at Alcoa for district and regions at home for substate. This game is being played at 10:00AM in the morning not the usually 7-8PM time period both teams are used to. Gomab we watched just about every game last year and we saw some teams that we thought never had a chance. But won.. I think this game will be alot closer than some people think.

 

I predict Giles by 2 in OT..

UNLESS Giles gets in foul trouble and has a problem keeping Fulton off the boards excellent offense rebounding team..

If this happens I will take Fulton by 4..

 

But this is just my humble opinion...

I'm going with Giles by 8. But Giles did not play their district tournament at home. Just regionals and sub state

Giles may be in trouble, after getting whipped on the boards against Bolivar a great rebounding team might give them trouble. Giles relied heavily on the three ball to beat Bolivar especially the 45 ft one. Shooting in the glass house can be a nightmare unless you are Taurean Moy from BTW.

I'm goin wiht my Falcons all the way. by the time they get to State...they will know EVERY aspect of Giles County h00ps! They'll be ready! I think it'll be a good game! but I'm stickin with my boys! Fulton will advance!

I think the last few post are correct, except for the Fulton fan. I think GC will advance, but they need to a little more work on the boards and second chance shots. If they do this and Shay (a.k.a. "The White Boy") is on top of his game.... IT"S LIGHTS OUT FOR THE FALCONS, and everyone else. I haven't seen the Falcons play, but it's hard for me to see anyone hanging with GC if they are on.. I've been to almost every home game for GC this year, and they are playing more like a team now than ever. Best of luck to both teams, and we will see you at the "BORO".

If Giles County had not had trouble rebounding/defense against Bolivar, they may have overlooked Fulton's strengths, but I know Coach Holt will work the guys hard on this before we get to the "Boro"!
