So why do you think Coffee Co. is having such problems keeping a coach? What is going on at the admin. level, or is it the parents? How do you feel about the district as a whole (academically?)

We will just say they are looking for a coach everywhere, under rocks, in the corners and in the deserts. As for the question of why Coffee Co. is having problems keeping coaches, that is a great question. I believe both of your guesses are combining to the problem. Academically, I would think the district as a whole is just as good as anywhere. I know the coach said this about his team this past year. We may not be able to win basketball tournaments, but we could compete in some quiz bowls.

So for those of you who have an inside word, what style of basketball does this coach bring. What has he/she done in this far away place. Will the coffee county girls accept the outsider? What must Coffee County do to play with shelbyville?

I heard some rumors about candidates finally. One of them was very sucessfull, but the word is definately NEW. I think it will be tough to play with Shelbyville this coming year, but I think after that they will be able to compete.

Does anyone have an idea on what their team point average was last season. How many applicants do they have for this position?

I believe their scoring average was around 50 points/game. That is not an exact figure just a ball park figure I got from looking at the results of all the games this year. The results from last year's games are under schedules.
