Top 5, but Goodpasture and Ezell are extremely powerful to the point of beng considered dominate.

I think that Boyd will hold their own against Ezell and Goodpasture. They have a great team this year and very good players. The thing is they are so young this year. They will be even better the next few years.

does anyone know the details of this game? how ezell scored? who pitched for both teams? i'm assuming kristi cunningham pitched for davidson.

According to article in today's City Paper, Herald gave up 6 hits and struck out 11 for Ezell, while Cunningham gave up 3 hits and struck out 10 for Davidson. Natalie Brock reached first on a fielder's choice and scored from first on a fly ball by Ashley McCool off of the center fielder's glove. I don't think the article said if it was a hit or an error, but I got the impression from reading it that it was an error.

I am not trying to take anything away from Boyd, but from what saw when I watched them play they are not on the same level as Goodpasture and Ezell. Another thing is they can't be any younger than Goodpasture.

I agree, I have seen both Goodpasture & Boyd B play, I think Goodpasture may be better & have to be a younger team.

Ezell is playing with a lot of confidence now & I see them everybit as good as Boyd. But, Boyd is a team that you have to deal with & is a pretty darn good team. They can hit the long ball as well as anyone I have seen this year, except maybe G'pasture. Good Luck to all 3 teams because I believe they will all be at STATE.
