What state do you think always produces the best high school teams and high school players? In my opinion it is Tennessee that produces the best.

I guess the second part of that was a joke..you might as well say delaware, alaska, or puerto rico.

 

 

I would say Florida...has the best athletes per person...Texas and California might get more but they are bigger states in terms of population and area.

Ternnessee is probably in about 25th place when it comes to consistently producing great players.

I used to live in Texas.. and I will tell that they produce amazing athletes year in and year out.... I would say that Texas is the best producer or football players with Florida right behind it...

Having just lived in Florida. I would say that there athletes are definitely better across the board. They are hugely underrated in the National media. I would say that the Fri. night game atmosphere in better in East TN. I had a blast last year.

georgia also produces a high number of atheletes and solid D1 players. not like texas or florida but it still is probably ahead of tennessee

Just my opinion. On a per capita basis, Tennessee might be in the top 12-15.

I would have to go with Florida with my vote.

 

The Miami hurricanes had 39 players from Florida on there team last year being defending national champions and 34 were from one county....Tennessee (UT) goes to other parts of the nation to pick up talent and that hurts TN. Georgia recruits from what I have seen alot in state. Really good prospects in Georgia. California and Texas are just plain huge alot more prospect chances (more ppl. more chances)

tennessee high school ball isnt as bad as everyone thinks. on the other hand, bama and mississippi isn't as good as everyone thinks. Tennessee has many great recruits this season, check out rivals100.com to view some talented tennesseans.

ps how can you even think of putting alabama above georgia and even louisiana for that matter?

Kentucky has a few good recruits each year, this year they sport the number one QB in the nation, and several other big D1 players. Most these players don't go to UK if you're wondering why they're still bad!
