I will be working off of 8th Ave. near the state capitol building. I think the name of the road is Harrison Street.

If you chose Williamson County and are working as a teacher, you may want to skip over Brentwood! Look at Franklin, Thompson Station, or Fairview. The cost of living is a lot lower outside of Brentwood, although Brentwood is an excellent community. Traffic all around Metro is terrible, so you should try to find something close to where you work (i.e. N-S-E-W). The location you mentioned is right downtown, so any of the surrounding communities would be fine!

I'd love to steer ya to Murfreesboro but you are probably better off in the Lavergne/Smyrna area.

I-24 is a breeze now until ya get to 40 downtown.... you can get to work in 20-30 minutes tops.

 

From Murfreesboro, my commute is 30 to 40 minutes each way if traffic is not a serious problem.

(i.e. an accident or two) As a '78 Smyrna Bulldog, I can say that adminstration and staff are

excellent and Riverdale's in Murfreesboro is second to none....
