Ron, Zane is down to right at 300. He played basketball in the winter, and has really gotten himself in great shape. He's been able to increase his strength and quickness, and yet stay at that weight.

Dan Brooks told Zane that he would be most effective right around 300.

Powell has a couple of other 300 pounders. Juniors to be Logan McKinney and CJ Rhodes are both at 300 plus.

Freshmen to be Little John (Zane's brother) Bruhin is pushing 260, as is his classmate Jared McGaha. They will both see varsity time as freshmen.

Why does every time a post like this gets started, someone immediately says that size doesn't matter and they can't always play because they're big and all that. The post was to find out about size, and nothing more. And really, wouldn't you rather have a kid who's mean and quick, and massive? B)

Josh Ward- Sevier County

6'1- 305 lbs

-I know he is not a 6'6 + guy, but his strength cancels that out.

551 bench

600+ squat

300+ power clean

Shane Canteburry- Pigeon Forge

I believe he is 6'7 or maybe 6'8

340 lbs.

I don't know much about his quickness

-both of these guys are seniors and are getting looked at by some pretty big schools.
