Its Game week for some....

Well, the word scrimmage is history now, its now time to play the best players and play a real game. What are your thoughts or predictions for Week 0 games?

 

Central at Greenville

Carter at Maryville

 

My predictions:

 

Carter at Maryville- Like I stated plenty times before, I think this could be an eye opener for some. I'm going out on the limb and saying Carter by 1 or 2 points. I know most of you Maryville fans are going to say, "Oh you're the same AERoadrunners that picked against us last year", but I'm going to be bold and pick the team I believe is going to win. I will choose Maryville sometime this year but I'm smelling an upset on the 23rd. . Maryville is young and I know they have the coaches to get them back to the State but I think they're going to takes some bumps before they get there if they go. Carter by 1 or 2 and that's my final answer.

 

 

Central at Greenville- I don't know anything about Greenville, but I've seen Central play and they have what it takes to take it all the way to the boro but it all starts Thursday. Will Central stand up to all the props they've been getting or will they sit down? My prediciton for this game Central by 10.

Oh by the way, these are the only two games I know about but if you know of some more games that will take place this week, post your thoughts or predictions.

Unless Carter improves their offense they will not have a chance. They were so predictable last season. They were never a threat to score on Maryville last year. Their defense was pretty good.

 

I think Carter will give us a good game but Maryville will win.

The only thing I have to say is, "Its going to be an eye opener for some". I put Carter like the Chicago Cubs, when you see their name on your schedule, most teams just overlook them and go ahead and give theirselves a Victory but like the Cubs this year, I think some people are going to start respecting the Hornets from Carter. If the Cubs can do it, Carter Hornets can do it. But thanks Ron for being a good sport, I know its going to be hard to pick against Maryville but in my opinion, Carter will win by 1 or 2.

Maryville by 21 with the second string score in the 4th. Central by 6 in a mud bowl. The forecast is for rain, rain and more rain. Maryville has preformed well in adverse conditions time and time again, ask Morr West! Good luck AE.
