Nobody in high school runs a 4.2

Scooter Houston from Jefferson County is the best running back in the state he averages 4 td's a game and 170 yards a game. He doesnt have that much size at 5'9 170 pds. but he is argueably the fastest guy in the state runnin a 4.2 40. So he doesnt use his size he just runs around you. Thats why he is the best runnin back in the state. So that means that no one can catch him.

A 4.2 time in the 40....yeah, RIGHT!!!!

The best runnin back in tha state that I have seen was Gregory from Lincoln County

Yes, in fact the Falcons did have two backs to go over 100 yards. QB Michael Edmiston gained 110 yards on 21 carries for Lincoln County to go along with Gregory's 169 yards on 28 carries.

And that was against an OUTSTANDING Riverdale defense.

 

Could anyone from Riverdale tell us when was the last time an opponent had TWO backs gain over a hundred yards on the Warrior defense.

 

While that speaks well of those two backs, they must be running behind a heckuva line.

In the last 2 games Rod Smith has 375 yards and 8 tds on 20 CARRIES.

Hard to determine a best back as so many things must be considered, such as level of competition, quality of O-Line , and scheme, but if there is a better tandem than Houston, and Jennings for Jeff Co. I would like to see it. Also Charvez Francisco of M-East is big 6'1" 215lbs. fast 4.6 40 and has great field vision. Volunteer also had a kid run for over 1500 yards last year as a junior Randy Jones, but I think he may have had knee surgery and not yet be fully recovered.

i would say justin coley, justin ohra but they are all gay i go to greenback these boys wouldn't know what talent and skill was if it hit them in the face.... i hope all u boys lose this year

I beg to differ with ya jamal25. Barber from cleveland has to be the best running back in the state. The jackson character is an amateur, which is probably why the scouts aren't going wild over him.

I don't care if Cody Cook made all anything, what competition does Mckenzie have every year? Huntingdon. That is the only decent team they play. They don't load up on powers that are normally in Westview, Union City, or Milan. Cody Cook is nowhere near the best back in the state. Look at who they play, im 5'9'' 200 and ran a 5.3 last time I checked and could pull his stats. Four of the top four backs in West Tn are Earnest Williams from Crockett County, Terrance Bell of Huntingdon, The Crayton guy out of McNairy, and Rod Smith of Milan, I am not familiar with anyone from Middle or East though.
