You know, this is one of those threads I usually ignore. However, after seeing the Giles County band last Friday night, I feel compelled to throw my hat in the ring. They were very good. I'm sure there are better bands, but for their size they are excellent. And I don't even like band music.

I do not know who the best band is in Tennessee but I want to say to each school that has a band you are very lucky. Perry C. does not have music in school and we miss this at a football game. Good luck to all bands and if your team plays Perry C. please bring your band.

Yeah the band does put some heart and soul in the game during halftime. What would they do during halftime without band um probably nothing and it would be boring

Chapel Hill (Forrest) has a really good band. They put on a great show in C'Wood last Fri. It had a blues theme and those kids pulled it off flawlessly. KUDOS!!!
