I say Lamon Williams & Patrick Turner are a toss-up. They might be the best receivers to ever come out of Tennesee. How much you want to bet that UT lets them both slip away?

Ummm, probably not... I seem to remember a reciever last year who was just as good, if not better, than both of the guys mentioned: Adarius Bowman from Noter Dame, who was actually invited to the U.S. Army All-American game and put on a show during the week at which Tom Lemming reported he was the most impressive receiver during practice all week. In the game I believe he caught a touchdown from Chris Leak (?). Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Lacey receives my approbation, as might Daniel Duncan were he healthy for a complete season. Let's not forget money man Clint Anderson, or Jake Smith, or John Craig Howell, or Clint Manns, or Greg Pruitt. This is McKenzie's compendium of receivers and they all can tote the mail. Any of them, on any given night, are worthy of such consideration. No team is invincible, but McKenzie's variety of weapons makes it awfully tough to prepare for.

Dustin Millsaps from McMinn County. He is 6'0" and weighs 175lbs. He will go across the middle of the field and catch the football or he will catch it on a post route. And by the way he was just voted 5A player of the week, in which he went 7 catches for 144 yds. and one interception on defense. Hey thats right he plays both ways.

    • I have no issues with the Karns Middle School program.   Good coaches and he's with the kids he goes to school with.  He's a rising 6th grader who had to play with 6th grade kids last year because Karns didn't have enough kids for a 5th grade age team.  He's in a good place at this point.   My daughter is a single mom with 4 kids under 11 years old.  We help her out with logistics, so staying in our own area right now is important.  Once he gets to high school age, who knows what happens?  That bridge will be crossed when we get there.
    • I know he was a backup but I thought he filled in well when the starter went down. Never a bad thing to have a change of pace back
    • That would be a good get for them. Lowe always finds a way. Pretty sure they have their Rb from last year returning but not that line of beef
    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
