Nichols at Franklin has the ability to create after the catch. That asset allows the Rebels to sustain drives without having to go deep. But when we do go deep, Great up's and hands as well as he has proven by taking the deep ball away from 3 DB's this year who had great coverage on him. THe difference though his ability to churn out the yards after the catch!

Nichols is a threat in so many ways, but I think his best spot is on special teams because of his speed... my vote for the best receiver defintely goes to Patrick Turner from Goodpasture or Lamon Williams from Dobyns-Bennett... haven't seen Williams play, but Turner is incredible for Goodpasture... his size and jumping ability will land him a Division I scholarship for sure... oh, and his speed is okay too... LOL...

Sportsguy, you're right, Turner is VERY good. Even though Goodpasture didn't score on us until the last couple minutes last year, he impressed me with his heroics against the BA secondary. I'm sure he didn't have his best game, but he looked very strong.

Daniel Beasley is the best reciever in the state. He can go up high and snatch the ball away from anxious DB's, or he can run right past them. He has the size to run them over, and the quickness and vision of the field to make them miss tackles. And as for his hands......he can catch anything that touches them. He is one of many dangerous weapons in Milan High School's arsenal. Good luck Beaz and keep up the good work.

No one has yet to mention Steven Hensley from Coalfield? Hes leading east-tn in yards. A Junior at that 5'10,160lb not the biggest, but the kid doesnt give up and has heart! As they say great players show up in big games and he has. Hes not the fastest or the strongest either, but you don't see him drop the football.
