Who is the best receiver in the State of TN?

kellen pickel from bradley is really good, and this is his first year playing football in high school, i dont know his numbers or anything because i dont go to his school, but we play them next week and i can't wait to see him

I have heard Lamon Williams from DB was the real deal. I heard that u can just throw it up to him and he will go up and get it over anybody. He prolly without a doubt is one of the best wr's in the state.

my vote goes to patrick turner from goodpasture. hes a big ol boy that has some good speed to go along with his size. great hands as well.

My vote also goes to Lamon Williams. I was at the DB/Jeff County game and I saw him destroy Jeff County's secondary. He is only a junior and he will only get better. Good luck to Jeff County and DB the rest of the way. I hope these 2 teams get to meet again in the playoffs. It will be a heckuva game!!!!!

Although he is not getting much press Northwest Will Newell. He is the best I have seen. Four TD's on 6 attempts. He makes it count. Of course 6' 3" and 4.5 forty doesnt hurt.

Again, I know I'm biased, but I'm going to throw this one out there...

 

Franklin's Ryan Nichols. If my computer was working right, I'd get his stats up here but I can't get to the Tennessean's website right now. They're impressive, I know. Anytime he touches the ball, there's a strong chance he's going to get into the endzone. Very fast, very fast.

Nichols is a threat in so many ways, but I think his best spot is on special teams because of his speed... my vote for the best receiver defintely goes to Patrick Turner from Goodpasture or Lamon Williams from Dobyns-Bennett... haven't seen Williams play, but Turner is incredible for Goodpasture... his size and jumping ability will land him a Division I scholarship for sure... oh, and his speed is okay too... LOL...

Well again I'm biased and we haven't played against too many great WRs this season yet, so that's skewed my opinion somewhat as well. I'll just say Ryan is one of the best instead of the best since I haven't seen others... is that better?

Well it seems unanimous to me that most people agree that Lamon Williams is the best receiver in the state. I am at about every single DB game and I see what this kid does week after week and its amazing. The best receiver I have ever seen play around here at the high school level. He could have went to a major D-1 college as a sophomore. He's going to be able to go about anywhere he chooses whenever he graduates, which is another year, because he is a junior...

ryan nichols is all over the papers with his amazing receiving and rushing yards. last time i check in the tennessean he had 3 catches for like 160 yards and one rush for 50 yards. he had 2 touchdowns i think, its incredible
