I think the game is closer than everyone thinks. Coffee County has had to come from behind in the last two weeks. I believe this is Wilson's homecoming game, so they will come out fired up. Coffee County 28-Wilson Central 14.

May be.. but 2 of the 4 wins were region wins; 1 was 78 year old rivalry game and according to CoachT's win/loss rankings for the state, Coffee County is one of the 9 teams in 5A remaining without a loss!

The Red Raiders will need to play 4 quarters of football, which they will! Go Red Raiders!

I have to agree. Isn't this a Wilson Central team that only lost to 3 points to Cumberland County in Week 1? They also lost by that same margin to Lebanon. Only Mount Juliet and Oakland have had any REAL success against the Wildcats. Granted, both Mt. Juliet and Oakland had their bad losses this year, but they were to really good teams.

 

I think we will know alot more about Coffee County after this game then we do through the first four weeks. If Coffee County is able to pull a victory like the Bears and Patriots had, then I think that the Red Raiders' similar success to those programs could not be ignored.

If I were 5-35 the last four seasons, I'd play a cupcake schedule too. Heck at 5-35 you're a cupcake - so how could you play a cupcake schedule. Just play ten games, five in your region and don't care who says what about who plays who. Go Raiders, Good job Coach Price.
