Lincoln County hosts Howard in The Pit

Chattanooga Howard is going to the Pit as somewhat of an unknown. I'm not even sure they coaches have swapped game films.

Although Howard has dropped a couple of close ones this year, they still have some talent. That talent is back from a team that won their district last year going 4-0....and they went 7-3 overall. That was while Lincoln County was going 4-7. The point is that Howard knows how to win, as evidenced by their 7 wins last season. They still have some of that talent back. And since they are an unknow entity to the Falcons, they may get overlooked or taken for granted.

These two teams have never met before so it should be interesting. Hopefully, Gregory will have recovered from his injury by game time. If Gregory is out, who knows...

Howard is a team that LC signed on to keep from having an open week. I don't think we have to worry about the Falcons getting beat. Howard is having a terrible year this year and are out of their league. The biggest problem that LC has to worry about is getting lulled to sleep and getting too over confident. Let's face it the Falcons are in the playoffs. They need to get ready. They need to stay focused. Teams that are having a bad year are not what we need to get ready. This will be like a open week. I hope everyone gets to play a lot. The starters need to go out and take care of business for the practice squad because they're the ones that have helped them get to where they are. Howard is probably stronger than Warren Co is at this point. I wish both teams luck in getting their teams back to where they want them to be, but it ain't gonna be this year against LC!!! That's just the facts! :P

Unless Josh Gregory has a very fast recovery don't look for him to play Friday night, his ankle was swollen yesterday, and we have some very adaquate backups to take his place and give him that extra rest that he might need to come back at 100%.

If Josh can't play, you will more than likely see #4 Chanze Bryson and his brother #5 Arrington Bryson at tailback, probably two of the fastest players on the team. If you saw the game last Friday night Chanze got about 3 carries late in the fourth Qt. and ran the ball very well.

The only bad thing is, they are the starting corners, which would mean that they would have to go both ways some. But if we come out and take care of business like we should, they won't have to go both ways long. :P
