I've heard that McMinn is doing pretty good... They should b/c they've got a Jefferson County boy coaching.

I was impressed by McMinn County. Tough defense against the run. Offense had a tough time getting going, but has been powerful earlier in the season. I pick them to bounce back from the loss to Oak Ridge and win 21-14.

i say sd 27 - mcminn 10......defense for soddy has stepped up every game and they will be ready! they are averaging only 10.3 pts. allowed/game and the offense is averaging 25 pts./game! if they can beat the officials too soddy will pulled this one out! good luck to the trojans!

i think that the game will be a close one becasue of the McMinn refs but if soddy's offence pulls togeather and the defense doesnt do all the work on the field soddy will win the game

No, I still think McMinn is the better team. Of course, if Soddy gets the victory then good for them. As for looking ahead, the only game we know is William Blount. Every game in its turn. Of course, for both teams this is a critical game that could decide who makes the playoffs.

I don't think anybody from Oak Ridge is getting worried about anything as of now. As good as they are playing they just need to concentrate on continuing that. If they play to their potential(i realize anything can happen in H.S.), then they won't lose from here on during the regular season. If that's the case, then I don't see them having any trouble even through the first 2 rounds of the play offs.

 

Anything can happen on Firday nights, but I can guarantee OR coaches aren't letting their players look past each individual week.

 

And no, I am not from Oak Ridge!

i think that soddy will win just b/c of thier defense and the fact that we want to come back home with a win after a 4 week road trip. there will be stand outs from unexpected people!!

I would love to see McMinn lose, and if anybody around here in 5A is going to beat them, it's going to be Soddy. I think it will be very difficult for Soddy to win at McMinn, however it is very likely. If betting, I take McMinn by 10, however I would actually like to see Soddy pull out the victory.
