leather
I predict Forrest will win out and make the playoffs! They did it last year! Friday night they looked awesome! We proved that the wing t is the offense we need to be running! So all you doubters from a few weeks ago we don't need you to be our fans! When we do make the playoffs as the 4th seed will easily advance because CPA will now finish 4th in their region! This will give us an easy 1st round game and our region champ will be eliminated by them in the 1st round ! So we should at least make it to the 3rd round! OUr defense has been impossible to score on all year! It just seems to get better and better each week! I guarantee Corn town wont score on us at all! That is a promise! Does anyone think Trent has a shot at Mr. Football? He seems to be better to me than the kid from lewisburg who won it last year! Stacey coached them both and he says that Trent is better! Once again at least 3rd round maybe more!
thetruth1
Are we to assume that DCA hasn't got a ballclub capable of beating the last play-off seeded team from Region 6A? I don't buy that theory. If Forrest makes the play-offs, then they'll very likely lose to DCA in the first round. Also, if CPA wins out, then they'll likely finish 3rd in the region. In that case, they would play the number two team from Region 6. I've seen Forrest play, and after watching the game I felt like they would make the play-offs. However, it will be difficult to finish ahead of at least one of the following: Mt. Pleasant, Huntland, and Moore Co. It seems that Wayne Co. and Collinwood already have berths sewn up. Vultor
leather I like your confidence, but we not only need to win out, we need some help along the way to make the playoffs. This team does have alot of talent and no one should overlook them, but they still haven't asserted themselves as a force on a consisdent basis. It may take another year or so for this team to be what they can be. I hope they do win out. It will be a giant stepping stone for next year. Go Rockets! mphstigerfan
OUr defense has been impossible to score on all year! It just seems to get better and better each week........... Is that the same defense that came to Mt. Pleasant and got shellacked?
leather
Mt.Pleasant You guys got lucky against us! Our defense played great that night and you know it! You just happened to break a couple of lucky ones! And I wouldn't be dogging our defense if I had yours! We ran the ball down your throats all night! We just didn't score like we usually do! You guys need to start a strength progam! We were lighting your guys up all night because they are weak! We can't wait for Moore county! We know for a fact that their weight program has been slipping the past few years! We seem to be winning game after game based on our superior weight room strength! Moore county on film is very predictable! There QBs feet tell where the ball is going every play! Just watch! Good luck everybody!
tnfisher
I don't think leather is really a Forrest fan. He's just trying to stir things up. The Forrest - Mt Pleasant score should speak for itself even though it was a close game until Forrest turned it over 8 times. Forrest does have an outside shot at the playoffs. However, they would need to win out and have some help. Plus they will be underdogs in two of the games against Moore County and Huntland. leather
TNFISHER Talk about stirring stuff up! You are known on thes boards for just that! You love to stir stuff up between Lewisburg and Chapel Hill! As well as Lynchburg and Chapel Hill! Look back at some of your previous posts! daa21
leather, its good that you root for your team but you need to look at some of the scores of those games. With a 3-4 record you shouldn't talk trash. Some of those games were blow-outs.
daa21
like others have said if the rockets can win out and also with a little outside help they can make the playoffs. lets hope it works out that way.
snowman
If memory serves correctly Mt.Pleasant 42-Chapel Hill 6 and Chapel Hill didn't push nobody around when they played Mt.Pleasant.
snowman
I thought about and I guess you are right. MP got lucky and scored 7 touchdowns.
