UTC and Free Soccer Balls!

TN Soccer Sponsors UTC vs Appalachian State at Finley Stadium at 3:00pm on Sunday, October 26, 2003

 

The first 250 soccer players will receive a FREE soccer ball from Tennessee State Soccer Association. We will also be giving out a free week of TN soccer Academy for 1 individual at half-time of this game. Plus their will be other door prizes that will be handed out throughout the game.

 

Please feel free to pass this on to anyone that might be interested.

TN Soccer looks forward to seeing everyone at the game and hopes that everyone will support soccer in Chattanooga and the Lady Mocs.

This is the coach that would spend his dollars on foreign players than recruit home state girls are even USA players.There is no reason ot go abroad now days. Any time we take teams to thiers tounaments we always show well.Like the Nordic cup.

Use the edit feature! It looks like you are from abroad with your grammar. The UTC soccer team has some foreign players, but most are from the U.S! We got a big win last night against UNC-Greensboro. This moved our record to 5-2-2 in the conference, which puts us in the southern conference tournament! Go Lady Mocs!

I am happy they qualified for the post season tournament. I have to admit the spelling was bad. Typing and not taking time to read what I wrote was a mistake. My point is if you have only a few whole scholarships to give and you give a player from Europe or any foreign countrya full ride that limits what you have to give to locals. If I remember correct Jallo got no or little money offered in their first offer. I think you take care of home first then everybody else.Then if you have money left add foreign players.I think they could have had Laura Arnold if they would had the money the make a decent offer. Look what she has done for Lee.That just the tip of the ice burg. I know he want to make this a step stone to a bigger program but there are a lot af girls from Tennessee helping other teams. Ole Miss is one. and there is others.By the way Ole Miss. was ranked 23 last I checked in the nation of USA!

Have to agree with Fireplug on this one. How is Vandy doing as a recruiter of home grown talent? I know in the east, UT does ok but in the west, Memphis is heavy international and a poor record to boot.

Well I don't know much about soccer or recruiting...but if I was the coach...I go for the best talent, foreign or abroad!
