MBA vs. MUS

Haven't seen much about this game, so I thought I'd get the discussion started. We all know what MBA has and that they are favored to win, but as RollRedRoll has reminded us, MUS should not be overlooked.

 

What does MUS have this year?

MUS has a very young team this year. They are typical of a young team in that they play well one week and not so well the next week. They have a good passing game but a real young defense. Depending on which team shows up it could be interesting or get real ugly.

They have an excellent senior quarterback in John Conrad McCrary. MUS always plays the Big Red tough and I am sure this year will be no exception.

LOL...Give me a break! MUS is really not good, and this won't be much of a game. MBA picks the score.

I agree, sir Itzme. They play very scared and will play scared against the "gentlemen" of MBA.

I disagree....although MBA looks like the obvious victor, MUS has always put up too much of a fight (4-4 record against MBA) to be a pushover. I predict an MBA win, but I don't think they'll be able to name the score.

 

Also, keep what happened last year in mind. MBA was sitting at 4-4, then went undefeated from then on and won the Clinic Bowl. MUS is definitely 4-4..... they could definitely want a piece of what MBA had last year.....

Final: MBA 40 MUS 7

 

MUS actually played MBA fairly tough early, going into MBA's red zone down 7-0. MUS then threw an INT and momentum was stopped. MBA poured it on from there, going up 37-0 at the half.

 

MUS is down. I sincerely thought they would put up a tougher challenge. They did have some early success with the pass, but in the end, they were clearly outmatched. That being said, they have a young team. They will be contenders in DII-AAA next year.

 

Next...BA. I'm pretty confident that will be a hard-fought game.

man, it's gonna be ugly next weekend....check your manhood kinda game...this one is low scoring, 13-7 type game, either way...just comes down to who is more physical...

Anyone know why Park played QB for MUS rather than McCrary?

Although I may not have caught everything they said, as I was getting out of my car last night and was turning off the pre-game on the radio, I think someone mentioned that McCrary may have been hurt in MUS's last game.

 

That being said, Park performed pretty well, even if the score doesn't show it.
