Sha Brooks from Jackson North Side has to be on any list of the top players in the state. She is one of the few players I've ever seen who can dominate a game on both ends of the floor without scoring a point. She may be the best guard (or player) ever from North Side, and that's saying a lot!! (Fisher, Piercy, Goerhing)

Sha is an awesome player and person off the floor...she works hard in school and plays ball when not doing something with school...I played during the summer with her...she has it all...good luck girl!! She is now at Liberty High School...I wish her the best of luck..I miss ya Sha....your best friend ever B)

Shelbyville has some pretty good young kids that will keep them in the state till the next run of great talent comes along in the 6th and 7th grades. Them two grades are loaded with talent down in Shelbyville.

shoot.....half those girls wont be up there when they're in highschool because they'll have recruited so many others. and if there so good the 6th and 7th grade class then i'd like to see them and mt. juliet play each other cause mjms is 3-0 and state runner up last year

Yes, they do play aau. Some of them played for the TN Stars which is out of knoxville, and yes i know about the Knoxville Stingers and yes they are very good and no none of our girls played for them. Some play for TN Team Pride which is just as good as TN Stars or Memphis Waves, they actually beat them. But, most of these girls have played all there life, and there coach knows what hes talking about and has been around it forever, he has a daughter who playes at Wake Forest!!!!!!!

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
