I hope with new coach he makes some changes. At times Grundy has not had enough basketballs to go around. I agree Woodlee and Bryant can get it done. Howard and Tyner are at the top but Grundy can play we'll wait and see.

I dont think Ooltewah wiil do anything in Chattanooga this year, Brainerd will rule the District as always. Was that Ooltewah's varsity that played at the Jamboree?

partially, Ooltewahs JV usually gets some PT in the scrimmages, did you happen to catch the Ooltewah games, @ East Ridge over the weekend? They beat up on Baylor and McCallie(14&16 points respectively) and demolished Boyd by nearly 50(i know Boyds not that good thi year but still)

I think Riverdale will have a chance to surprise some people this year. They have one of the top 10 players in the state in LaBrian Lyons leading the way. They have a very a good supporting cast in Jerry Onwu Sr., Chris Perkins Jr., Chris HarrisSr., Michael LavendarJr., Gaston Miller So., and also a very athletic Ramel Oliver at about 6 4' Jr. When Riverdale gets their football players back (Perkins, Miller, Oliver, and also Terrence Savannah), they could be a force to be dealt with in 7AAA.

 

I also think Shelbville will step to forefront this year and knock off the Columbia menace that has dominated that district for years. Coach Thomas will have the troops ready and loaded this year.

Livingston will suprise a lot of people this year. An unlike in football they will make it to state. LA football did get riped off, but that is the way things go. I have a feeling boys and girls are going to be making it to state this year, but only time will tell...

Cap'n. I came to the LA tournament last year. LA seemed to rely on the perimeter game. Are they going to have any inside presense?

some of those young guys you are talking about may be:

 

Sophmores:

Brooks Majors-5-7" PG/SG, best shooter on the entire team

Shay Glenn-6' PG/SG, best ball handler

Warren Swann-6'5" SF, all around offensive game

Brandon Adcock-6'4" C, very strong inside, needs to be more athletic

Ricky Curtis-5'9" SG, great defender

 

These guys, along with the guys you mentioned, should help Warren County be one of the biggest surprises this year. Some people are picking them 5th or lower in their district. There is no way that will happen.
