Cliff, has anyone told you lately, that you are weird... but i do appreciate your enthusiasm at games and stuff... but on the game. i think it will be a close one, however, i would definately say that mccallie is not underestimating MUS. just because cliff says we will kill them, he is just saying that because of his love for mccallie football and its players...

Nader you are wrong he was in the game. I just watched the tape of the game and he made the run on the option in the 4th quarter. He started out to the Mus bench and cut back and ran right in front of the McCallie sideline right toward the scoreboard. So you must be thinking about another game.

Hey guys, I'm still here, I promise. It's just that the inane babble of nader64 and blu has gotten a bit boring.

I'm pretty sure that the MUS quarterback in the 2001 game suffered a concussion and broke his foot after that hit. He stayed in the game for a little while after it, but definately did not finish the game. That hit from Kep still ranks among the most vicious I've seen.

Good luck to the Blue Tornado this week!

    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
    • Gunner Warren was the second starter, freshman. SP #1 arm impressed me last night.
