It has been a long time coming but the Tigers of Macon County will be playing in the TSSAA Semifinals of class 3A next week, no doubt. If you had told me as early as two years ago that Macon County would be playing in the Quarterfinals, I would have laughed in your face and then proceeded to take you to the hospital. 419carpet Posted November 21, 2003 Report Share Posted November 21, 2003 CARPET BOYI remember the punt return TT made againist Macon last year. UNBELIEVEABLE!! The young man is untouchable with a football in his hands. You know that TT is in junior college in Mississippi. I heard he started at WR and returned punts and kickoffs too. I heard he had a good year and that he might go somewhere big after next fall. I hear if you're good enough to start at a Junior College then you will more than likely go D-1A. I've seen this kid play against Carthage and he got fliped feet over his head and landed on his feet and kept on running. It was unreal. Smith Co. you played one heck of a game. Your crowd was awesome...You made some noise.. Heck I saw people from every county at this one. It was standing room only inside the stadium and outside too..
