I'm not going to predict the final standings but I think everyone will see a changed White Co team this year. We have been struggling the past couple of years and I think we finally have a team that will give the fans something to watch. We have some quality players in out juniors and sophomores that are going to make this a better year all around.

1) Blackman -- no one can match up with their three guards

2) Lebanon -- athletes + Keil = an impressive combination

3) Riverdale -- would finish higher, football always hurts their basketball

4) Oakland -- loss of Barker and Duggin will hurt more than people think

5) Warren Co. -- Bishop can only carry them so far

6) Siegel -- young talent is still talent

7) White Co. -- great shooters just getting better

8) Cookeville -- effort can only get you so far, there is very little talent here

What do you guys think?

I just don't think Lebanon has enough offensive firepower. Siegel just doesn't have enough bench. WC just has Bishop. White Co is a year away... so, after watching pre-season ball...

1) Riverdale--District MVP in Lyons

2) Blackman--Great guard trio

3) Oakland--Down some, but King's a winner

4) Lebanon--Athletic and good coaching, but where's the offense

5) Siegel--3 Deep team; Too bad for Siegel the game's not 3 on 3

6) White Co--A year away, but good young talent

7) Warren Co--Bishop is only weapon in all honesty

8) Cookeville--Least talented team in district

Top 10 Players:

1) LaBrian Lyons, Riverdale

2) David Price, Blackman

3) Reece Bishop, Warren Co

4) Randy Tate, Oakland

5) Chris Perkins, Riverdale

6) Isaiah Phillips, Blackman

7) Andrew Donald, Lebanon

8) Keith Ramsey, Siegel

9) Kris Lee, Blackman

10) Darius Roper, Siegel

actually, i think 1 is riverdale.....2-4 is a tossup between blackman, oakland, and lebanon.

5-8 is anyones guess with siegel, cookeville, white co....and warren co.

i think there could be some upsets this season. U never know.

We already know the top 5 seniors.

what about the top 5 juniors and sophs.

&, are there any freshmen expected to get a lot of playing time this year?

Inconsistant? Yes

Unprepared? No

This is a team that can play, but are struggling to be consistant. Notice I said TEAM. Reece is not the only player Warren has. They were beat by 4 in overtime against Columbia in the Shelbyville playday last weekend, and they led most of the game. Also, Gomab only watched the Cascade game, and I agree with him that game was not very impressive. Too bad he missed the Columbia game. ;)

They played poor D last night, and needed improvement in many areas, but don't underrate them.
