First off dan dont talk about what hillsboro is going to do to maryville. The burros are not thinking about that game or next week they are thinking about stratford. Then they will worry about the next step. The burros know when the second season started there was 5 steps to take they have made 2 of them but there is 3 to go and you take them 1 step at a time. Now going back to last year you can say the rebels won on trick plays but hillsboro lost because we made mistakes in the game and let the rebs capitalize on them. If i remember correct hillsboro ran the hook and ladder also. The burros got beat and all they can say is on that night the rebs wanted it more. I hope we do see maryville again this year and we finish our season with the same record as last year 14-1 but the burros have a ways to go before they can think of that.

 

Good luck to the rebs Friday night against Knox central.

wheather maryville will win the title....again remains to be seen but as long as they are in it im gonna be pullin for them.i have to agree about what was said about the trick plays and i think you said it best when you said it was just a trick play to the unexpecting defense. if its leagal then there is nothing wrong with it. it doesnt agure me but it does make me raise an eye brow when i read teams talkin about they cant believe that CC gave them a game. i hope maryville wins the state because they are a great team and because we played them so close...it will make us look even better.

 

....And BROTHERS...dont jump QB#7....you cant notice that that was addressed to fayfay....simply because its not very noticeable. he said somethin then you saids that...i would think you were talkin to me also. it wasnt very noticeable at all.

Maryville can't beat Big Dobyns-Bennett cause we r the number 1 team in the big east. That is why we r called the beasts from the big east!

The classes are not ranked by skill, but by size!

Just like in boxing, there are classifications for a reason. Maryville has the option to play up in classification if they so desire. That would end much of this squabble.

And if if maryville is lucky enough to make it to see another championship then I PROMISE A VICTORY toward Hillsboro, cause we ain't goin for the sorry trick plays. and this is D Wezzie

Quit whinning and get ready for your next game. You have had two shots at maryville and blew it. and quit whinning about "trick" plays. if they are legal anything goes. you are just mad because all you can do is run the ball and when you are forced to pass your quarterback looks like a deer in headlights. don't criticize a team because they are balanced. as for this year i dont see you getting past melrose.

I have to wonder if fayfay is a real fan as well. Everyone is beatable and we are this year more than we have been since 2000. I hope we dont but i would never get on here and make some conceited statement like that.

In my opinion, Maryville is a great 4a team. They have the talent, coaching, and experience that it takes to win at this level and beyond. However, i am not sure if they are the best team in 4a this year. There are a lot of good/solid teams in 4a including a very good Hillsboro team who would love nothing more than to get revenge on Maryville in the finals. Don't get me wrong, I am pulling for Maryville; I just wander if they can keep mustering up enough strength to keep beating all these goood teams. Only time will tell.
