Cory will get his points, and if he doesn't Portland has a good enough supporting cast to win games. They are well coached and play hard. Yes, Cory is a great scorer but he brings alot of other things to the game. I look for Portland to have a successful season.

I think if Brewer doesnt put up points then Portland will not win b/c there is no way their supporting cast is as good as last year. But I wouldnt call John a supporting cast. I would call him the reason they went to the state final four.

I'm glad to see Brewer getting the respect due. Some have said his offense is dunking only. Trust me, he can fill it up from anywhere past the half line. In the playoffs he really turned it up a notch. I agree he will be an outstanding SEC player. May take him a year to get accustomed to the speed but he willl make Portland proud. My ONLY criticism, he seems to play to the level of the task at hand. I guess it is only natural to let up when the challenge isn't as great but since I have never come close to his level of play I'll keep admiring from the bottom of the hill.

Space21, I agree that John was the reason Portland made it as far as they did last year. That is in no way a slight to Corey. They made a great tandem.

I am not slighting Brewer at all, I was just simply saying that last year John was the best player on Portland's team. Corey is awesome. Anyone who puts up 50 is very good. I just think he's a little overrated but how can you not be when you are as rated as he is.
