Sycamore coaching situation

Has Coached Tharpe resigned from Sycamore?? He has done a great job at SHS. What is the scoop? Enquiring minds want to know.

I have been told that Coach Finley at Cheatham is already lined up to take the Sycamore job, they are still trying to work out the assistant coaching situation there. He would be a great choice, did a solid job last year.

I seriously doubt that Coach Finley rumor is true. He is building a good program and they seem to keep getting better, so it would be dumb for him to leave. Most of Sycamore's returning players want the offensive coordinator, Gary Halstead, to be the new head coach. He helped put in their offense and knows it the best. The players don't want any change, especially with their offense.

don't know what the players want but Coach Smith at Ezell-Harding is a front runner. I know he has already had discussions about the job with some poeple who count.

Aw, Finally, A true voice of reason...people meet Mr.BrianTodd....knower of all things and a specialist on Coach Smith.....can't say much about who I am except that blood is thicker than water, but for all the things you said about Coach Smith you are truly ignorant.....Scott just loves to coach football, he never professed to be a great coach...especially not in the same region with coaches like Pack,Goodwin, Weicker.....he dosen't blow his horn...he just likes to coach football!

Coach Smith needs to stay at his little private school so he can have it all come his way. He cant make it at a public school.

I'm sure Smith would be interested in the job. It would get him back closer to his home town of Springfield. But he doesnt seem to stay anywhere very long. He was previously at Greenbrier (among several other places) and left very abruptly. He does seem to be able to coach though.
