DeLaSalle of Concord, CA won their 150th game in a row by winning 48-13 in the semi-finals of their playoffs. With some of their assistant coaches leaving each year for other coaching positions, how long will it be before the streak ends?

well rebelron you also have to take into consideration that there private, and maryville is public, If mhs had the option to recruit like de la salle, then MHS would probably have a MUCH longer streak themselves

BigSneaky, I'm with you. I like all high school sports, especially football. When a high school team has done what De La Salle has done, it is quite interesting to a LARGE number of high school sports fans. My world is bigger than just one town, one school, one county, one region, or one state.

Does anyone know if DLS is going to travel to Louisiana to play Evangel Christian next year? I know the two teams played in California this year, and a return game in Shreveport would draw a huge crowd.

Umm? Not that good? I watched them play too, and I saw their first string QB get knocked out of the game, and a back-up comes in that looked like an All-State player, I mean when your back-up looks like an All-American your team is in good shape.

 

Could a team from TN beat them? I dont know, Im sure they could. Any team could beat anyone on any given gameday.

 

But too say that a team with a 150 game winning streak, who plays teams all over the country is not that good, is alittle extreme isnt it?

So, you "seen" them play. Well, I did too. They are extremely good, which is an understatement. If they were to play ANY team in Tennessee, I'd bet on DLS. Someone MIGHT beat them on a given night...with help from the refs, but I wouldn't bank on it.
