Red Bank took on Marion Co., Lookout Valley, and McMinn Central thursday night and it was a blow out. Beating McMinn(Who had 11 weights filled) 68-6, Marion and Lookout only had 4 wrestlers each though.Red Bank took forfeits from 103, 125 and a double forfeit at 215, they then pinned at 112,119,130,135,140,160,171,189,and275. The only loss they suffered was at 145 when Andrew Pursley was beat by a better wrestler(One of there best). Red Bank looked strong, still need some work but they look better than they(we) have looked in the last couple of years.

The boys from Red Bank did look good, especially at the low weights. To give the other schools their credit, there were several decent looking kids from among them. Unfortunately for them, most of their better wrestlers were matched up against good Red Bank guys. And how about the RB heavyweight who only weighed 230. He fought off of his back and pinned a tough kid in his first match.

hey coby johnson from mcminn central is pretty good. keep an eye on him. he's only lost one match so far and he wrestles bradley next tuesday. i'm the 171 that got beat by the guy from RB and he's a hoss. if it's his second year then keep and eye on him. this is my second year and he killed me.

Well, the 171 from RB last year is now the 160 and Josh was not very good at all last year, Mickey pinned Josh twice and beat him by like 4 or so the other wrestle off, I would have to say if you wrestled him (Mickey) last year that yes he wasn't very good either but now he has improved majorily, just as Josh has. Plus Mickey has a lot more years on Josh, Josh wrestled now two years, Mickey close to 8, so he had a lot more skill and Josh a lot more strength.

we started off real good against notre dame, then the lower weights got killed

i didnt know mickey or josh until this year, but i can tell you, id take either of them over most people in this county, josh dedicates so much effort into wrestling and has vastly improved and mickeys always dominating his opponents

    • Jason Lambert should be the only choice for the Baseball coaching position.
    • From the stats I found online it looks like Gabe Eddington- .484, 44 total hits, 43 runs scored and 42 stolen bases.Meanwhile, on the mound, the Austin Peay commit had a record of 8-2, while compiling 50 innings pitched with an ERA of 1.82. Carson Parrott - 7-0 overall as a starting pitcher with a 1.41 ERA, 95 strikeouts and a save in 53 and 1/3 innings pitched. Parrott hit .392 with 3 home runs, 21 RBIs with a .566 OBP and .716 SLG. Jaxon Walker - .454, 53 hits, 38 RBI’s, 9 HRs.   Not saying the other three aren’t deserving but Quillen had better BA than all three and was just as dominate pitching.  Like I said I don’t know how you leave off the 3a Baseball player of the year last year when he put up better numbers.  I know Greeneville’s Coach wasn’t happy about it saying “I don’t give a s*** what anybody else says. That kid is the best player in Tennessee, and everybody else on our team rises to his level“.  I’m sure winning another State Championship as a junior is more important to Carson than the individual award, it’s just a head scratcher to not be nominated
