Scoreboard says Greeneville beat Jackson County by 10. Is Greenville 2A or 3A? The score is interesting. Any details anyone?

Yes alot of the girls are very sick this week due to the flu that all the schools are experiencing, i'm sure they won't use that as an excuse but it was a factor tonight and last night as well against Upperman. But this game tonight against AAA Greenville was more like a scrimmage than anything, you wan to win it if you can but when you've got so many girls sick its hard to do much and it really doesn't affect your season one bit. So go home and rest up girls, don't have another district game for awhile.

Greeneville is a AA school playing AAA ball. They played exceptionally well tonight, despite the fact that they drove straight down and played.

I'm not trying to start anything here, but back when White Co. lost to York a couple of weeks ago I mentioned that just about all of the White Co. girls had the flu and some people were on here saying "excuses, excuses, excuses". All of the sudden Jackson Co. loses and the flu seems like a more legitimate excuse. My point is that the flu does effect scores and outcomes. I hope ALL teams suffering from the flu get better before the holidays.

They are a small AAA school, as Jackson County and Upperman are small AA school according to enrollment

Greenville may be like White Co. Some years they have the enrollment of a AA school and some years they have just enough students to be considered AAA.

Ok i thought that might be what it was, its like us we were 6 students over the A limit so we went AA and i know that White County is one of the smallest AAA schools in the state. preciate the info

Greeneville has appriximately 800 students. They have never been much higher than that. The choose to play up for whatever reason. Great win for the Lady Devils program. And no they did not fly down, the trip is about 4 1/2 to 5 hours long.
