Franklin beat Lavergne then they beat Centennial.

Centennial did a great job today and Franklin is just too much to hold off this year. Good luck to Franklin at State. Everyone here from Smyrna will be cheering you guys on.

I just saw a few matches between Franklin and Lavergne.

 

I remember wins for Franklin's 112, 119, 125, 135, 140, 145, and I think 189 and 215.

I really beleive that Smyrna was robbed by centenial, i'm not one to use the ref as an excuse, but come on! The 145 pound match was ended by a very contraversal call! I thought if you have a guy in a double leg and your knee hits the mat first it was legal, but hey that just might be me. I could see the ref calling it potential dangerous if the wrestler was running with the kid and drove him into the mat, but the smyrna wrestler picked the kid up in a double leg and turned and took him to the mat! Very very legal!!!!!!!!!!!!

smryna dropped him straight to his back without a knee hitting his...all that hit was the smryna kids shoulder driving straight into his chest. It wasn't legal.

you must have seen a different slam than i saw likeachamp171. his knee hit perfectly legal and as far as the shoulder goes its hard not to have your shoulder at that angle when your in a front headlcok by your opponent. naturally thats how the body comes down. All that happened was the kid got the breath knocked out of him and the centennial coach decided he couldn't continue. but what about later when the heavyweight was legitimately hurt with his elbow and the coach thought it was ok for him to continue because it was done on a "legal" move unlike the slam. i hope the hwt is alright though and will be good to go for regions he looked a lot improved until his elbow got hurt.
