dragonwrestler
Yeah well it was my last trip to Clarksville and not quite what I expected to come home with. I wanted 3rd, and we were so close, so all I have got left is Chattanooga, so I will see where that takes me. sundancer
The race for 3rd & 4th for Div 1 was amazing. Franklin, Clarksville, Collierville & Science Hill all have great programs that generate amazing athletes. These teams have done a great job through out this season and should do very well in the individual regions and state tournaments. Being third behind the likes of Bradley & Soddy is not necessarily a bad thing. Congratulations to both of these teams for their outstanding performance and amazing programs. cb56
Irishdad, you said Mayo beat Velasco. He did, but you failed to mention Velasco had him flat on his back the whole first period and he was taking it to him until he had to inj def because he was wrestling with a CONCUSSION almost the whole match. Congrats to Mayo vs Mcallie however. Edited February 9, 2004 by cb56

fhsd
Was the shoulder injury for Jesse Baker what gave Konz the win at state duals? How serious was it? Where did the match stand when it occurred? Edited February 9, 2004 by fhsd

Congrats to Mayo in the Baylor match however. Sweet Lord where do you get that .... the score was 6-5 when Velasco hit his head receiving a concussion. I have seen the video when they tangled up on the last out of bounds Velasco hit his face flush on the mat.....that is when the injury occured..the ref saw he did not know where he was.... Flat on his back is such bull..if he was on his back the whole first period how did mayo score any points..plus it was going to be 3rd period with velasco down.. it was not all Velasco ...not by a longshot...where you there???? Making excuses for your wrestlers makes them appear weak..just like your post!!!!!!!!!! [/font]Thanks for the congrats on Baylor?????...he did not even go out against Baylor we had them beat at 152..not even vaguely humorous.. Against McCallie .. he pinned... wrestling up to 171.... was the Mc Callie kid injured too? Give him his due he put his team ahead on points for a state championship...
