gen074,

Why does it matter? Why do you care? Do you know the TSSAA rules about the age requirement? It was not Chucky's option to be held back. I know there is several players the same age playing. As long as it is legal WHY DO YOU CARE?

I sit and wonder why you would post something like this and there is only one reason to down Chucky. WHY? Chucky and your son played AABC baseball together and it really makes me very angry that you Gene Ofiero who had two son's who played at Volunteer that we stood behind and supported through out their High School years would post like that in the only way i see it,negative.we back all players in northeast,it would be nice to see just positive post on this sight.if you dont understand how to write positive post, read some of stokelys post and you will learn.

like i have said before im chuckys dad.listen to your post, gee how old is chucky?theres no other way to take your post other than very negative toward chucky.why do you need to know how old chucky is?anyone who post something negative about a kid or a team is the lowest .i miss the old days when you could give a man an attitude adjustment, lord knows there is alot of mean people who does not care what they say even if it hurts a kid.for all you people who downs any kid on this computer, what comes around goes around.after these kids go to college we support every kid in northeast,we are fans of vince redd at virg, whitten at dallas, seal at lmu, nuchols at etsu, sensabaugh at etsu and we will be fans of chambers ,odom, harrison, bailey, porter, buchanan, minnick and the rest that play college ball, why cant fans be for all kids to further their careers.

falcon84(big chuck),1st of all thank you for all you have done for my youngest son...you were the one to start him in the right direction....and the dividends have alot to do with what you taught him and I thank you and Tim has thanked you personally and in the paper. As far as questioning his age....the point I was making is he should dominate...which he does...and I voted for him as the best...good luck in the playoffs and regionals

It just goes to show you, If you put Falcon fans on any thread there is going to be an argument, usually amongst ourselves. So all you people who complain about our long thread should shut up and be glad we are not on yours.

And as for you Goobers in Unaka, 1. Elizabethton High 2. Happy Valley High 3. Hampton 4. Cloudland 5. Unaka. I think that is the normal pecking order in Carter Co. Betsy and Happy Valley running neck and neck. Good luck Rangers, in your monstrous district tourney.

Ps I am not knocking Chambers, He IS one of the best players in the area, if not the state, but some of the statements about Unaka's schedule shows just how nearsighted you people are. I don't think Volunteers schedule is any tougher than anyone elses and I sure don't think we are the best team around ( we are very much underachievers at times) but I promise you, Unaka would not be 19-8 with Volunteers schedule and that IS a fact!!!!!!

geno74,

I'm sorry if I took it the wrong way. Just alot of people have been saying stuff about his age. I care a great deal about your youngest son. He is top notch. I don't know your oldest one that well. Good luck to both of your sons in college and to you and your wife.

GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

falconfan84...after rereading my earlier thread, I can now see how you can easily take it the wrong way. I am truly sorry that it caused you any ill-feelings towards me since I and my family have the utmost respect for you and Lois. take care and God Bless....good luck with the rest of the bb season

First of all, Chuck Lindholm is the best player in the Watuaga, hands down. As for Chambers, I got the opportunity to see him play last night against Sullivan Central and was very disappointed. I expected much more from him. I am not taking anything away from him, but he was not as good as advertised last night, and SC didn't do anything particular to shut him down. One question I do have is why is Joe Brown not mentioned anywhere in this post. I think Stokomo would agree that this kid can play.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
