Science Hill player killed in car accident

Junior Whitney Broome was killed in a car accident on her way to school this morning. My thoughts are with her family. I've heard the school is devestated.

Found out today that she actually died in her younger sister's arms. Her sister is in the 8th grade. They were on their way to school and Whitney lost control of her car and hit another car. She was not wearing her seatbelt(she reached down to get something in the floorboard and unbuckled her seatbelt) and was thrown from her car. As her sister held her, her last words were(to her sister)"I love you".
