Who is the best Shooter in the State?

Oh you're talking about the 4 technical garbage display at Houston County. That really makes the case for the Bell kid. One team beats another and that makes him a better shooter? BS! Get real. Look at the stats. Be objective. YOU may like the Bell kid but comparing him to some of the best shooters in the state is a farce. Good player but not a "great" shooter.

Adam Plavich is withouta doubt the best shooter in the state...when he lines up for three it is going in thats the bottom line. Watch Baylor play...they have a great inside out game with Jones and Adams downlow who kick it out to Plavich for easy threes that always go in.

What exactly happened in that game? I was pretty sure Waverly had that one before it even started.....any info would help.

Game was really physical....and Waverly was playing pretty bad. Waverly always has a tough time at Houston County. The referees and the Coach from Waverly seemed to not get along very well the entire game. Ryan Hollis from Waverly got foul called on him and seemed a bit frustrated and the ref teed him up. Referee claimed he cursed at him. Funny thing about that is that Ryan has lanringitis (sp?) and can't talk. HA! Oh well. Earlier Ricco Ralston got a technical for putting the ball on the floor after a walking violation that was suspect. After these two incidents Waverly trailed by 2 late and Coach was livid. He waved his hands at the Ref once in a motion that seemed like he was saying your awful. Ref teed him up. :18 left in the game Coach does it again and gets tossed. The assistant coach after the game comes to the defense and gets livid getting a warning. A bad situation for all involved but just and example of things that happen in Houston County year in and year out.

Kellen is hoping to be back in time for the region semi-finals or finals. He is in lots of pain right now, but begins therapy this afternoon so hopefully it will heal quickly.

Heard he was out for the season! True or false?

Hard to argue with Michael Mott, he's floating around 48 or 49 percent for the year, thats tough to beat. And ten three's in a game, please, thats just ridiculous. You can't leave Michael open because he will straight up knock it down.

will mantlo from David Lipscomb would be so much better if he would shoot more, with a hand in his face, and quicker

Lipscomb can absolutely light it up. Maybe their coach doesn't want them to shoot the ball from deep that much but I think if they had shot more in the district tourney they would have done better because they were open so many times and didn't shoot the ball. Particularly Pennington, Hopkins, Pharr, and Robertson. McPherson and Mantlo shoot alot alredy and they need to keep it up b/c that whole lineup can shoot the ball well.
