RHSfan
MSU, Basically, Cumberland Co. had a lot of well placed hits. Seems like everything they hit was in the gap. On a more positive note, the RHS Tigers beat Rhea Co. tonight 3-2. RHSfan Edited May 7, 2004 by RHSfan
MSUBac2001
Games like the Cumberland County loss do happen, they get going and it snowballs on you. The great thing about baseball is the next day can have a completely different outcome. Nice job on picking up win #20. It's amazing where this program is, until the late 90's Rockwood's greatest win total was 16. I think its safe to say that Rockwood expects 20+ wins a year now and that is a testament to Coach Lane, the staff, and the players. I know this season will seem like a disappointment unless the team makes it to Memphis, but congratulations on another successful regular season and good luck to the team for the postseason. Hack
Hey Rockwood. We got Harriman tonight 6-4 for our #20. We played pretty good only had one eror so we finnally kept it togeather in the field. Picthin was pretty good. Gene, Trae and Torey pitched well. Cody didn't fare as well throwing 19 picthes and 18 balls. But we had a pitchin rotation goin into tonight and we didn't wear anybody out so we should be fresh goin into the tourney. Wish you all the best of luck next week.
