Does the A-Rob trade help or hurt the Yanks? Some people on tv have said it will hurt them but I don't think it will. I'll be rooting against them like always but this has to make the deepest roster in baseball even deeper. Go Cards!!!!

The Yankees have made the habit of trying to buy up all of the talent for years. As we have seen though, you cannot buy the championship. Having the most talented roster will usually get you to the playoffs, but anybody can win in a short series.

 

The real question mark or them this year will be pitching.

It was rumored that the Yanks were going to sign Greg Maddux but I just saw on Espnews that the Cubs have agreed to a deal with him. Will this help the Cubs? I presonally hate Maddux and hoped he would go to NY so I could hate him more. The N.L. Central is looking like it will be stacked once again.
