bradley is a dominant team obviously and have been for years. but how good will they be next year with their coach leaving and losing 9 seniors? do they have good kids coming from the youth programs because they always do? how will bradley be next year?

The Spains and Creagan will be great wrestlers next year. You can count on that. I would expect the bears to bring home another pair of state titles next year.

Listen...from wrestlin..to basketball...BC is just bad...they just dominant everything...so anybody who thinks that bradley won't be back next year in wrestlin for those state titles...think again...they will be strong...they have 2 freshman spain and creagan..they both will get there titles next year....so all you soddy guys..this was yalls year..but sorry...bradley got it once again..like always...CONGRATS TO coach LOGSTON!!!!...thanks! its nice as a coach to go out as the duals championship and the individuals...

I hope Bradley wins it next year but I don't see it, they do have some j.v. kids who are going to be good and some freshmen who did well this year (sivley hwt. included) but I think Franklin will be the Favorite next year at least early in the season. Soddy and bradley with Clarksville will be chasing them, only time wil tell. by the way it was a great tourney alot of action in the early rounds and how about the Bundy kid he had to wrestle all the favorites and still won.

Don't give up on Bradley just yet. Over the last 11 years Bradley has won 7 Duals and 6 Traditional Tournament Championships. During those years Bradley has averaged 7 Medalist and almost 3 State Champions. The 2004-5 Bears will return 6 wrestlers with tournament experience and 2 returning medalists. Two additional starters have had significant varsity experience and would have been starters and state qualifiers for almost any other team in the state. Meeting the average of 7 medalists and 3 champions is certainly within reach. Entering the 2004-5 State Tournament, BC will have at least 9 wrestlers with a shot at a medal.

 

(BC won a State Championship in 99 with only 3 returning medalists, in 94 and 98 with only 2 returning and in 95 with only one.)

 

Franklin will come out of the gate as the team to beat next year. They will be followed closely by improving and rebuilding Science Hill and Clarksville. Cleveland will also be a very good team and you can never count out Soddy. Next year will be a dog fight. However, all the top teams will have a few holes. The State Duals Championship may come down to which team can get pins when they win and not get pinned when they lose. It should be exciting.

 

Today Bradley will enjoy the Champions and Championships, but tomorrow many will go back to work to do it all over again next year. So don't give up yet. The Bears will be down a little next year but down a few steps from this year is still pretty good.

Bradley won 2 or 3 state titles on bull sugar stalling calls. The guys most the Bradley kids wrestled in the finals got screwed over. Cordell also wrestled good and had some good matches, like agains Usary from Science Hill. But congrats to them and their state title.
