District All Tournament

Who made the All Tourney team in your district that should have, and who got left out?

 

5AAA when as expected, Ashley Hardaway and Holly Rogers were awesome in the finals. Everything went smooth there. But in 5AA how did Suzanne Morris of Walker Valley and Jennifer Patterson of Central not make it. 1st place girls got the same number (2) as the fourth place team!!!

I'm not sure how Casey Anderson did in the tourny but she should have gotten it for all season in 9AA she played well this season.

Anne Weingardner (sorry for the misspelling!!) should have been put on the All - Tournament for girls 11-AAA - she is by far the "unsung hero" for the Bruins. She is a very patient point gaurd with a good shot- She wasn't put on the team and I believe she is very deserving.

Lookie here, this here is Roy D Mercer from Maynardville. My daughter Roylene Danielle Mercer got shafted in District 6 7/8s tournament. She was left off the all tournament team despite the fact that she had two double doubles and one triple double in the tournament. The double double games involved 11 turnovers and 10 eye pokes, while the triple double game involved double digit missed free throws, layups and landed punches. Me and my boys are coming to town to correct this injustice. It aint nuthin for me and my boys to whup a man's..........................

Amanda Davidson got All District 5-aaa from Rhea County..... she is really a great plalyer....if you ever watched her then you know what i am talking about....

I know this was about All Tournament but hey she needed to be mentioned at least even if her team came in last place... not her doing .... Rhea County just don't put in to girls team like they do boys sports....

I wil reiterate that Bretta Payne of Tellico should have been all-tournament. She scored 29 points in their first game and her team finished third in the district.

Yes, two girls got on the tourney team, a sophomore and a freshmen. Not saying they do not deserve recognition, but they did not score the points like Brita. In fact Brita supposedly on her first great night, and second night that was average, still scored among the highest points of the tourney. She and WV's Morris, and Patterson from Central should not have been bypassed somehow.

Stewart Co. had a few girls make all district...congrats to everyone!!

All tournament is not just about scoring points. You should think about a player's all around game before you speak of what should have been.
