Who is the best all around player in middle TN?

What are some opinions on who is the best all around player in middle TN?

It all depends in position that they play and forwards usually get the glory because they get the goals, one of the best has to be jeff boyton (sp) for blackman, and i may be bias because he plays on my team (columbia) but lance bullock has had a strong preseason and may be a player to look out for and of course anyone who made all midstate or all state should up there too

Cal Long is definetely one of the best players in the mid-state. He's a defender, so he doesn't get all the goals, but this kid rarely lets the ball AND his man past him. Very good player.

Xander Vooys, returning midstate player of the year. He's good

He's real good. Jeff Boynton is good also. Micheal Sullivan is also a very complete player at Smyrna.

I've never had the pleasure of playing against xander but in order to be player of the year he must be something... who does cal long play for?

I've from East TN, but I've played Xander and Jeff in club. Clearly Xander is better. He's bigger, faster, and stronger. Jeff is a good player too though, so don't think I'm selling him short.

cal plays for centennial.. kinda funny jeff boynton, xander vooys, eric edmonds, and cal long all play for the same travel team... and i think cal, xander, and jeff are all going to play for libscomb... jon cartwright is good for bga he is strong in the midfield

Xander is garbage. Jeff is okay. Cal is a gymnast. The best player in the whole state of TN is Andy Batton. Hands down. No one can argue with that. This is the man with the fro in the cage representin the Brentwood Rage.

brad christiansen should be mentioned in all this ramble on best player, he has amazing touch and can score whenever.

I agree with two who have mentioned guys that should be mentioned. Lowder, a soph. at BHS, is going to have an amazing career. Just watch and see. And then you should also throw Christiansen's name out there. Two-time all-state... he's great. Looking forward to seeing how his last year goes.
